Opera feedback
Here's a nice message from Hayward, California about Cincinnati's Opera season:
During a visit to relatives in the Cincinnati area, we attended the opera Aida. Having been to operas around the world from St. Petersburg to Buenos Aires to Beijing to San Francisco we must say that performance was tops. It was stunning. Congratulations! If we are in the vicinity again, we will not miss the Cincinnati Opera.
Cheers!

The 2007 Season was crescendo in form; it just got better and bigger and better. My favorite was AIDA, on a par with any production worldwide; next the NIXON IN CHINA which was a long time coming here, but definitely deserved to be seen and heard; followed by COSI which even to those who do not like Mozart (How can that be?) like my dear wife, loved the unique concept and staging, and finally FAUST which had wonderful singing but staggered through lackluster staging and concept. The season as a whole makes me proud to be from Cincinnati and I shall invite anyone worldwide to attend our fine Opera and not be diasppointed. DRMM
