Ex-P&G executive sings in Macbeth this weekend
David Michael, the former brand manager-turned opera singer, has a role in this weekend's Macbeth with Dayton Opera. Michael is singing the role of Banquo, who unfortunately dies in the second act. The opera stars Michele Capalbo and Lester Lynch. Dates are Jan. 19, 25 and 27 in the glamorous new Schuster Center. Visit www.daytonopera.org for more info.

I just love it that Mr. Michael chucked his business career to follow his dream...
What a great story this is!
Excellent voice, good talent, we heard him once when he began to gather his friends around
him. They were his support and gave him strength to go forward.
Do hope he succeeds.
Dayton Opera's MacBeth is a must see. David Michael and Lester Lynch are Cincinnati Opera regulars. Their voices and acting are outstanding in this production. Michele Capalbo is the perfect Lady MacBeth. The conductor, although Russian, is a perfect Verdi interpreter. This Opera is not to be missed; it repeats Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. BRAVO TOM BANKSTON!
Is it just me or does this guy look like "Bull" from the old "Night Court" comedy series?
Yes, in that picture he does look like Bull. But trust me, David Michael is a stunning man!
Saw the show Friday night - OMG he was incredible! His voice has gotten so much bigger and his acting was terrific the aria was fantastic. As the review said it was sad he does not sing more in this opera. I think it was his real life son in the role of Banco's son. Lester Lynch is a absolute sensation. A must see. A+++
My girlfriends and I went the opening night. This picture does not show how handsome he is. Tall, sexy, with a gorgeous voice - when is he going to sing at the MET - that's my question!?
