Jarvi/CSO album debuts at 19 on Billboard Chart
Paavo Jarvi and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra's new album of Elgar's "Enigma" Variations, Britten's "Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" and "Four Sea Interludes" from "Peter Grimes" has debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard Chart.
Although the Pops is a regular on Billboard, I'm not sure the last time the symphony's Telarc recordings landed there. Joshua Bell's "Voice of the Violin" is No. 1, followed by Paul McCartney's "Ecce Cor Meum."

Dear Janelle,
Thanks for the mention :-)
By the way, the most recent other time the CSO landed on the Billboard Classical Music chart on the first week of release was back in May when their Bartok/Lutoslawski CD debuted this week at #9! Not too shabby.
Janelle,
You are such a hack. Maybe if you took a few writing courses and possibly a few music lessons from a real musician your critical listening skills would improve and need to couple descriptive phrases would diminish.
"you are such a hack"
You have just shown that your opinion means absolutely nothing. You are probably an overpaid crybaby at the CSO!
